Disposable Diapers?

What happens when a disposable diaper [accidentally] gets thrown in with the wash?

It's super-absorbent core apparently soaks up the entire contents of the washer drum expanding to 100x its normal size. Also note how clean it comes out... no sign of prior use whatsoever.

Ultimate in leak protection, indeed!

LOL... I have no idea how it got in there! But am amazed at how well it stodd up to the washing machine. The folks at Huggies should be proud of their product. :)

Rose: Yikes! Luckily, mine did not explode! I did a search and came across the following suggestions for what to do to get rid of the "gel-slush":

- do a wash cycle with salt instead of detergent, the theory is that the salt is supposed to dissolve the slushy polymers of the diaper
- wash a single towel to see if it will soak up the gunk
- do a wash cycle with oxy-clean, same theory as with the salt above.

Good luck! Let me know if any of these work for you.
