Hide the Scissors

Or else you will go from this...

... to this.

A little trim is all he needed.
Instead, he looks like he lost a battle with the hedge trimmer.

It doesn't look that bad, really. Different, but not bad.

I tried to give D-Mac a haircut a couple months ago, and fell into the "let me just straighten this out" trap, making his bangs shorter and shorter. I finally stopped when they were well above his eyebrows, but still crooked. At least they've grown out now.

Yea, that's how it started. Just wanted to lighten up his bangs a bit... I cut the angle too harsh, then tried to fix it. Put the scissors down, sent him to school in hat (the one he is wearing in the 1st pic) with the promise of taking him to the children's haircutting place the next day. The next day came and I was sure, NOW I could fix it. LOL!

I mangled it, so had to take out the clippers. Which is how I cut his hair for four years. Last summer, he wanted to grow it out so he could wear braids and beads like Capt. Jack Sparrow. So I put the clippers away. :)

Luckily, he took one look at his new 'do and exclaimed I WANT TO KEEP MY HAIR LIKE THIS FOREVAH! He likes it spikey. ;)

HA!- Too cute!

A trim you say???? j/k

Glad he likes it. It is very stylish and he does look as though he has a beckham thing goin' on.

I think he looks quite handsome! I tried to trim my hubby's hair and did such a rotten job, he had to shave his head. Now he likes that look and shaves it every day!
